Founded by Lyanne Brooks in 2008, House Dance Hawaii is an annual freestyle House dance competition created to celebrate self expression, musicality, community, and the spirit of dance through House culture.

Presented by Housing Project 360, the dance school and community hub founded in 2004 and dedicated to House dance and underground street and club dance styles, the event brought together dancers, DJs, judges, and supporters from Hawaiʻi and beyond.

Held annually for more than seven years, House Dance Hawaii became a gathering that celebrated and showcased Hawaiʻi's growing House dance community while welcoming dancers from a wide range of backgrounds to compete, connect, and share in the culture.

Today, this website serves as the official home of House Dance Hawaii, preserving its history, celebrating its legacy, and sharing its continuing evolution.
